About The Owner:
Born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Newark, New Jersey, Michelle began writing poetry at the age of 15. Her writing style developed into short stories as a young adult. She has supported a wide range of writers over the last 16 years and has six books self-published. She plans to continue her independent writing career for as long as God gives her the strength.
Not only is she a writer, in 2010 she founded a nonprofit organization which focused on healing and positive engagement for youth that are affected by domestic violence. Within this organizational umbrella, services provided spanned from community outreach and youth workshops that covered topics such as teen dating violence, bullying and suicide prevention, as well as camps that focused on music and literacy development. In addition, Michelle holds a degree in Criminal Justice Administration with a certificate in Human Services. She uses her skills and knowledge gained to work with youth and families in crisis.
In 2015 Michelle Nicole branched out into the Indie film industry. Her short film titled, "A Child's Prayer, Can You Hear Me Now" on YouTube tells a visual story about a child growing up in a home of domestic violence and the effects the environment can have on a child if left unresolved.
In 2022 She opened the doors to her publishing and indie author support company which not only supports writers, but has a portfolio of additional services in the arts to include therapeutic art sessions, paint parties, and the Art of Words which is a four week program that allows individuals time and space to work through situations in a nurturing and supportive environment, while learning the impacts of their words and thoughts.
In 2025 Michelle joined the team as a Contributing Writer for Aspiring Authors Magazine which inspires authors to keep writing and aspiring authors to start writing.

If I had to choose three words to describe myself it would be:
1. Motivator
2. Creative
3. Advocate for Positive Change
Let the work that I have done speak for me. I'm here to make an impact. Change a life for the better. Embrace my test and not be afraid to let it be my testimony. In the end, I need to know that I have done EVERYTHING God has put me here to do, leaving no stone unturned.
My goal is to make it to the gates of Heaven and hear "well done, my good and faithful servant". There is NO THING this world can give me at this point in my life. I have HAD, and I have LOST, and now it’s time to LIVE, with God taking the lead.
My inspiration comes from knowing that God, in his divine wisdom brings the ONE that I am put here to work with.
My purpose is not to just entertain you. I want your spirit to be moved in a way that causes you to react and know that whatever you may be feeling, someone else is too. Whatever you're going through, someone has been through it, and they have lived to tell their story.
No matter what may come your way, always continue to be prayerful, productive, and positive."Keep God first in everything you do and everything you do will surely be blessed"!
